Reviews
'Evidence from my family and its visitors confirms that Elsa Beskow's Peter and Lotta stories somehow capture the imagination. The illustrations in these lovely hardback editions have something of the charm that Carl Larson's watercolours have. For children I suspect these books have the old-fashioned feel and colour that a good Nordic "heimat" film does for me as an adult. Children love them.'
