Description

Many parents of young children ask how best to bring Waldorf ideas and best practices into their homes.

Walking with Our Children is an inspiring but accessible collection of articles, originally published in the anthroposophical magazine Lilipoh. Experienced Waldorf educator Nancy Blanning offers suggestions for home-based activities, both work and play, to help develop a conscientious home life with young children. This revised and expanded edition discusses recent changes in the world around us, from the use of screens and digital technology to the fast pace of life and the experience of a world pandemic.

Parents are encouraged to think of themselves as a leader, showing children the way down a path. But sometimes parents must step to one side and be a guide instead, walking alongside their child. This book will help parents understand when to lead and when to guide, for a long and fruitful journey as their child grows.
