A new biography of the founder of the first Waldorf school, written by his grand-daughter.
Description
In a trunk in the attic of her mother's house Sophia Christine Murphy found papers, documents, and diaries belonging to her grandfather, Emil Molt, that had not previously been seen by the public. Out of these documents she has written a new biography giving light to the karmic struggles within the first Waldorf school and the Anthroposophical Society.
Through one man's struggles, failures, successes, and disappointments a great deed was done that lived on beyond a mere personality.
This book is a gripping read for anyone interested in Steiner-Waldorf education, its history and its future.
Author
Sophia Christine Murphy is Emil Molt's granddaughter. She was the Director of Weleda USA for many years and founded Lilipoh magazine. She now lives in Ireland.
