Explores the threshold between life and death through a series of personal stories.
Description
At the age of six, Claire Blatchford lost her hearing. As she grew accustomed to her new state of being in the world, she developed a new inner perception. This remarkable book uses a series of personal stories to explore the threshold between life and death.
Reviews
'There will be many who find the events as told by Claire both inspiring and intriguing; but these have become so deeply part of her own life that they do not surprise her, but have led her on to accept her deafness as 'an ongoing opportunity', which enables her to use her gift to help many others with their problems and their grief. We must be grateful to those who take on the great difficulty of writing about such personal experiences.'
