The development of each child is described in great detail and with great warmth, with meaningful anecdotes adding colour and depth to the accounts.
Author
Wilhelm Uhlenhoff was born in 1922 and studied medicine. From 1952 to 1984 he was the doctor at the Lauterbad home for children with special needs near Kassel in Germany. From 1966 he was also on the board of the German Association of Curative Education. He lives in Überlingen on Lake Constance.
