She works as a consultant in human development and is the founder of beginningwell.org, a site to support parents and caregivers on caring for young children with joy, empathy and mindfulness. She is a founder member of the Emmi-Pikler-Haus for neglected and abused children in Berlin, Germany.

Elke Maria Rischke was born in Germany in 1942. She is a Waldorf educator and worked as a Waldorf kindergarten teacher for over three decades. She is a founder member of the Emmi-Pikler-Haus for neglected and abused children in Berlin, Germany.

Ute Strub was born in Germany in 1933. She is a physiotherapist whose work with Emmi Pikler resulted in her international work as a lecturer on early childhood education and in training Pikler educational theory and practice. She is a founder member of the Emmi-Pikler-Haus for neglected and abused children in Berlin, Germany.
