Reviews
'We enjoyed the first book [Goldie at the Orphanage] and Chloe liked this one even more. The illustrations are beautiful and even though the story focuses on Goldie being allowed to go to school (!) Chloe loved it and was glad of the happy ending!'
-- Emma with Chloe (age 7), Education Otherwise, December 2005
'This heartwarming tale is gently illustrated with beautiful watercolours. Our young testers were thrilled to read the next instalment of this tale of a young orphan who triumphs against the odds. A perfect bedtime tale for children aged 4 upwards.'
-- Green Parent, January 2006
'This is the sequel to Goldie at the Orphanage and has long been awaited in our house. Beautifully illustrated, this story is all the more moving for being based on the author's own experiences.'
