Reviews

'A sweet story. Young children will enjoy the different perspective of this tale. Highly recommended.'
-- Juno: A Natural Approach to Family Life, Autumn 2004

'Now that's what I call a perfect Christmas book. A delightful ending to the story -- find out what!'
-- Families South-West Magazine

'A lovely Christmas story which evolves through the building of the Nativity scene and ends with the baby in the manger on Christmas Eve. Beautifully illustrated with full-page watercolour pictures.'
-- Family Interest Magazine, December 2003

'With Gerda Westerink's fabulous, light-filled illustrations, this is a wonderful Christmas story for small children.'
-- Cygnus Review, Christmas 2003

'Perched in their cold tower home, Owl Soft and Owl Feather observe preparations for Christmas in the church below. Then the crib, the service and the singing make for a very special moment: the book is a fine new combination of older elements with softly expressive pictures.'
-- School Librarian, Winter 2003
