The subtle colours and the delicate lines are absolutely lovely and magical! I love how little details in the background will catch your attention, and add meaning to the story. It’s so delightful to see these stories come alive in the art work! This is truly a special book, and it has a pretty blue ribbon attached for a bookmark. The pages are glossy and smooth. Author
Daniela Drescher was born in Munich and trained in art therapy. She is the author and illustrator of more than twenty books for children, which are now available in several languages. Her best known books for younger children include In the Land of Fairies, the Little Fairy stories and the Pippa and Pelle stories. She is also the illustrator of stunning fairy tale anthologies including An Illustrated Treasury of Grimm's Fairy Tales.
