Awards and Accolades

Floris Books is a former Saltire Society Scottish Publisher of the Year. In the UK, our Kelpies books have won numerous awards including multiple Scottish Children’s Book Awards, the Blue Peter Best Story Award and the North East award, and have been nominated for the Kate Greenaway awards, the Carnegie Medal and the Scholastic Lollies.

In the US, our picture books have been part of the prestigious New York Times/New York Public Library Best Illustrated Children's Book list and the Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection and regularly receive coverage and Starred Reviews from publications including; The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Publisher's Weekly, Kirkus Reviews and The Horn Book.
